Whistle with Rayon Lanyard and Acorn Reenactment

The signal whistle is round in shape and has a loop on the whistle cap for passing the whistle rope (signalpfeifferschnur). The whistle rope is about 35cm long, braided in a cross-stitch pattern, leaving 2 loops at the end. One coil is passed through the ring on the whistle, so that the sentry rope is passed through the coil and knotted there, while the other coil is fastened to the button of the military uniform.
